DETAILED SPECIFICATION
TENT SECTIONS, FRAME TYPE, EXPANDABLE
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers tent sections for an expandable, frame-supported tent of
wind-resistant cotton sateen (see 6.1). Minimum dimensions of the expandable tent are as follows:
Length 16 feet; width 16 feet; ridge height 8 feet, 6 inches; eave height 6 feet. Also included are a
cover for the 16 foot by 16 foot tent, and arch and purlin carrying covers for the tent frame sections.
