4.4.4 End item dimensional examination. The end item shall be examined for the defects
listed in Table II. Only those dimensions that can be evaluated without damaging or
disassembling the end items shall be examined. The lot size shall be expressed in units of tents.

4.4.5 End item performance testing. Tents shall be tested as specified in 4.5.1 and 4.5.2
for compliance with the requirements of 3.3.3, 3.3.3.1 and 3.7. The lot size shall be expressed in
units of tent bodies. The sample unit shall be one completely fabricated tent body. The inspection
level shall be S-3. The lot shall be rejected if one or more sample units fail to meet the
requirement.
*4.4.6 Packaging examination. The fully packaged end items shall be examined for
marking, materials, workmanship and content defects.
